RenderDraw Intake Capture Privacy

This notice explains the information handled by the RenderDraw Intake Capture Chrome extension when a user explicitly captures, reviews, and submits content to a permitted RenderDraw intake alias.

Information the extension handles

  • Account and authentication information: RenderDraw workspace membership plus OAuth access and refresh tokens and short-lived PKCE state used to secure sign-in.
  • Website content: visible page or email content, selected text, document labels, and fields that the user chooses to review. The extension removes URL query strings and fragments and does not run as a background page monitor.
  • User-provided files: files selected by the user or page documents selected after the user grants access to that exact HTTPS site. Gmail and Outlook mailbox attachments are not read through mailbox APIs; the user must select a local replacement file.
  • Review metadata: field corrections, workspace and intake-alias selections, preview status, and submission receipts needed to complete the requested intake workflow.

When collection occurs

The extension reads the active page only after the user opens RenderDraw Intake Capture and chooses Capture. Nothing is submitted until the user reviews the fields and files, selects a permitted intake alias, previews the outcome, confirms the review, and submits.

Storage, transmission, and retention

Authentication and draft metadata are kept in Chrome-managed extension storage. Local file bytes remain in memory until upload and are not stored in synced browser storage. Approved submissions are transmitted over HTTPS to RenderDraw and retained under the user’s RenderDraw workspace policies. Temporary uploads are cancelled or expired when a submission is abandoned, fails, or times out.

Sharing and advertising

RenderDraw does not sell extension data and does not use extension data for personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising. Data is transferred only as necessary to provide the capture and intake feature, protect security, comply with law, or deliver to a destination explicitly selected by the user.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

RenderDraw’s use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Humans do not read captured data except with the user’s consent for specific support, when required for security or law, or after aggregation and anonymization for permitted internal operations.

Control and deletion

Users can cancel before submission, revoke the extension’s RenderDraw connection, remove site access, or uninstall the extension. To access or correct information, or to delete your account and associated data, contact privacy@renderdraw.com.
